Join speakers Emily Hill, PA and Steve Rad, MD for SMFM’s next coding webinar on Coding for Delivery Services. The purpose of this webinar is to provide attendees with coding guidance for reporting delivery services when some or all of the delivery or global OB care services are performed by maternal-fetal medicine physicians. Panelists include Barbra Fisher, MD, PhD; Sandra Johnson, MHA, CPC, CPPM, CPC-I; and Trisha Malisch, CCS-P, CCP.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this webinar, attendees should be able to:
• Describe CPT codes and guidelines applicable to global obstetrics care.
• Delineate what services are included in the global obstetrics codes and what services may be reported separately.
• Recognize when global obstetrics care codes may or may not be reported.
• Distinguish coding when delivery care is provided by an OB Hospitalist.
• Specify appropriate coding when the global obstetrics codes may not be reported.
• Identify diagnosis code reporting guidelines when reporting delivery services.
This course has the prior approval of American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) for continuing education hours. This program meets AAPC guidelines for 1 CEU. Can be split between Core A, CEMC, CPMA, and COBGC for continuing education units.
