• Describe CPT codes and guidelines applicable to global obstetrics care.
• Delineate what services are included in the global obstetrics codes and what services may be reported separately.
• Recognize when global obstetrics care codes may or may not be reported.
• Distinguish coding when delivery care is provided by an OB Hospitalist.
• Specify appropriate coding when the global obstetrics codes may not be reported.
• Identify diagnosis code reporting guidelines when reporting delivery services.

Join speakers Brad Hart, MBA, MS, CPC, CPMA, COBGC and Madhurima Keerthy, MD for an in-depth webinar on ultrasound coding for MFM subspecialists. Hosted by Steve Rad, MD, SMFM Coding Committee Chair, this lecture will cover key ultrasound coding principles, including appropriate use of CPT codes, documentation requirements, and common coding challenges specific to MFM practices. Furthermore, attendees will hear case study examples for tricky coding scenarios, including practice tips and insights to use in day-to-day practice. Following the lecture, experts from SMFM's Coding Committee will lead an interactive discussion to answer audience questions and share insights. Panelists include Erin Kornovich, CPC; Trisha Malisch, CCP; and Vanita Jain, MD.
