Submit Your Cardio-OB Case

Each quarter, SMFM will host a case presentation in cardio-obstetrics. To submit a case for proposal, download, complete, and upload the proposal document for submission.

Incomplete proposals will not be reviewed for consideration.

Criteria:

The case may be from the past or ongoing pregnancy that you may need to get input from the experts.

The case you present should include:

• Cardiovascular disease in pregnancy or postpartum period.
• A challenge in diagnosis or management.
• Educational value: preferably a unique case that generates a discussion.
• Cardiac imaging.

The cases are encouraged to include:

• A multidisciplinary team– cardiology fellow and MFM fellow, may include Cardiology, anesthesia colleague from your institution to comment on the management plan.
