Upon completion of the components in this module, the learner will be able to:
- Distinguish between the different hypertensive disorders of pregnancy
- List the risk factors and describe the pathophysiology involved in the presenting signs and symptoms of preeclampsia with severe features
- Identify the maternal and fetal complications of preeclampsia with severe features.
- Describe the treatment of preeclampsia with severe features and eclampsia.
- Discuss the long-term health risks of preeclampsia with severe features.
Completion of all components within a module and a score of 75% or greater on the post-test quiz are necessary for the attainment of 1.5 CME credits.
This module will start on January 15, 2024, and expire on January 15, 2025.
