Upon completion of the components in this module, the learner will be able to:

  1. List the risks factors and inciting factors for DKA in pregnancy.
  2. Understand the pathophysiology and diagnostic criteria for DKA during pregnancy.
  3. Describe the appropriate treatment for DKA during pregnancy.
  4. Communicate the fetal and pregnancy risks associated with DKA in pregnancy.
  5. Review the complications and associated outcomes with DKA in pregnancy.

Completion of all components within a module and a score of 75% or greater on the post-test quiz are necessary for the attainment of 1.5 CME credits.

This module starts on January 15, 2024, and expires on January 15, 2025.
