Upon completion of the components in this module, the learner will be able to:

  1. List the major causes of Acquired Cardiac Disease.
  2. Discuss the impact of different lesions on pregnancy care and outcomes, including: 
    1.  Cardiomyopathy 
    2. Valvular heart disease 
    3. Mitral stenosis 
    4. Arrhythmias 
    5. Coronary artery disease/Myocardial infarction 
    6. Cardiac Transplantation 
  3. Describe the care and delivery alterations to patients with cardiac disease.

Completion of all components within a module and a score of 75% or greater on the post-test quiz are necessary for the attainment of 1.5 CME credits.

This module starts on January 15, 2024, and expires on January 15, 2025.
