|Cardiovascular disease contributes to at least 61% of maternal deaths in the USA, a significant number that are preventable with timely recognition and treatment. As a follow-up to from the 38th annual Pregnancy Meeting, this course will provide pearls and pitfalls for obstetric care providers in a highly interactive forum with, concise, 12-minute presentations followed by Q and A sessions. A wide spectrum of cardiac disease in pregnancy will be reviewed including: preferred diagnostic testing in pregnancy, ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias, congenital heart disease, and cardiomyopathy.|
