Upon completion of the components in this topic, the learner will be able to:

1. Understand thyroid physiology in pregnancy

2. Compare and contrast the symptoms of hyperthyroidism and distinguish from thyroid storm

3. Discuss pregnancy outcomes associated with hyperthyroidism

4. Describe treatment of thyroid storm
